About Us
ClimaCiudad is a weather information website designed to make forecasts easier to access and help people plan everyday activities, travel and journeys.
We currently provide weather information for cities across the United States and Puerto Rico, with pages available in English and Spanish.
What you can find on ClimaCiudad
Each city includes weather information covering different forecast periods:
- Current weather conditions.
- Weather forecasts for today and tomorrow.
- Hourly temperatures and forecast conditions.
- Extended forecasts of up to 14 days, depending on data availability.
How we prepare weather information
We use weather observations and forecasts from the National Weather Service (NWS), part of NOAA. To extend the forecast horizon, we use information from the Global Forecast System (GFS).
Our work involves organizing this information by city, converting units, presenting forecast times in each location's time zone and making weather data easier to interpret.

Useful information without invented data
A weather variable may not be available for a particular city or forecast period. When this happens, we aim to communicate the limitation rather than present unsupported figures.
Forecasts are estimates and may change. Uncertainty generally increases as the forecast period extends.
Independence and safety
ClimaCiudad is an independent project. We do not represent NOAA, the National Weather Service or any official meteorological authority.
For hazardous weather, emergencies and safety-related decisions, consult official alerts at weather.gov and follow local authorities' instructions.
